In collaboration with AKQA, Delacroix Studio crafted an immersive audiovisual experience for the global reveal of the Volvo EX90 in Stockholm.
Blending monumental projection, refined lighting, and immersive spatial sound, the installation transformed the venue into a minimalist, emotional landscape reflecting Volvo’s spirit of innovation and Scandinavian elegance.
Delacroix Studio handled the audiovisual art direction, media content, sound design, and L-ISA spatial audio mixing within a custom-built sound environment.
The result: a fluid visual and sonic narrative, carrying the audience from silence to revelation.The event began with a prestigious corporate gathering, bringing together industry leaders, partners, and employees to reflect on the company’s achievements and share its vision for the future. This was followed by an immersive 90-minute musical show, retracing Emil Frey’s journey through time—from its humble beginnings to its present-day success and future ambitions. Through a dynamic blend of live performances, music, visuals, and storytelling, the show paid tribute to the company’s pioneers, innovations, and the evolution of the automotive sector, culminating in a glimpse into the next 100 years.
The spectacle was further enhanced by breathtaking performances, including the mesmerizing Laser Man act, featuring hypnotic light effects, and an acrobatic bicycle performance, showcasing agility and precision in a thrilling show.
This unique tour not only celebrated Emil Frey’s remarkable legacy but also reaffirmed its commitment to shaping the future of mobility through an immersive and unforgettable experience.
