Meet The Team
We're an award-winning multidisciplinary team based in Montreuil (FR) & London (UK) with a passion for creating innovative soundscapes. We work with businesses and people to create a more beautiful world.
Years of experience in the music industry, cinema, and live entertainment have enabled us to acquire the expertise needed to bring your sonic vision to life and shape each project with precision.
Our studio collaborates closely with a diverse range of creative talents. Their expertise in music composition, sound design, audio mixing, speaker design and calibration enables us to venture into uncharted frontiers. We are truly grateful for their contributions!
An engineering graduate of the University of Technology of Compiègne, Guillaume Le Dain embarked on his professional journey as an R&D project manager at the TF1 multimedia studio (France Television Channel 1) between 2003 and 2005.
Driven by a passion for music, he moved towards sound engineering, and became a music composer, a sound designer, and a sound engineer. His work was honored with a double platinum disc and multiple gold discs.
In 2016, Guillaume specialised in the supervision of sound projects within the audiovisual sector, contributing to a series of short films, TV shows or advertising clips and videos, alongside video mapping. He worked in collaboration with a variety of creative studios and agencies, including Spectre Lab in France, or AKQA in England and Sweden. In addition, he continually increased his collaboration and strong relationship with Holymage Studio, and has been working with them for more than six years.
Guillaume has created more than 40 soundtracks for video mapping, including innovative projects, such as “Petit R” for Champagne Ruinart , a show that won the “Vivatech Innovation Prize” in 2017. Among the monumental shows he conceived, “Tempo” was staged on the Parisian Arc de Triomphe for the New Year 2020, and “Le Rocher des Trésors” on the Castle of Chantilly, near Paris.
Co-founder of Beyond the Mix, an immersive audio consulting company, Guillaume now delves into the realm of immersive audio, demonstrating his skills in sound design, composition, and mixing for 3D audio leveraging technologies such as ©L-Isa (L-Acoustics), ©Dolby Atmos or ©Spat (Flux Audio) while providing support to creators and agencies in these fields.
Laurent Dupuy is a Grammy Award winning French recording and mixing engineer based in London. For the past 20 years he has mixed records and live performances for gold and platinum selling artists in a wide range of styles.
Laurent started his career in Paris at Radio France and in film and TV, but then quickly focused on developing his skills for the music industry. He has mixed over 800 songs in urban music, pop, reggae and world music (Angélique Kidjo, Alpha Blondy, Salif Keita, Chronixx, Taïro, Tony Gatlif, Nâaman,…)
In 2014 and 2015 Laurent won two Grammy Awards for his work on the Best World Music Albums “Eve” and “Sings” by Angélique Kidjo, which were recorded in part at Luc Besson Studios (Europacorp) in Normandy, France.
Alongside his studio work, Laurent has toured worldwide, mixing over 800 shows in 40 countries. He’s been continuously touring round the world as the FOH engineer with Alpha Blondy for the past 10 years and spent 6 years before that with Angelique Kidjo and many more artists (NTM, Raggasonic,…).
Passionate about the future of sound, Laurent is exploring the world of immersive audio and joined the L-Acoustic team in 2019 as a consultant for L-ISA, the leading technology for live immersive audio developed by Christian Heil and his team. He has mixed shows and events in 360 degrees for clients like Alexander McQueen, Volvo, Cité de l’Histoire.
In 2021, he co-founded the company Beyond the mix with Vincent Audou and Nicolas Stawski and set up his mixing studio in Dolby Atmos. Between them they have delivered over 900 tracks in Dolby Atmos for Universal Music, Warner Music, Sony Music,…
